Welcome to the Abstract Submission for the Bioeconomy Congress BW 2024

Under the theme of this year's Bioeconomy Congress BW, "Translation of Research into Practice," we cordially invite you to submit contributions for presentations. Whether from established companies, start-ups, or researchers, showcase your groundbreaking technologies, new business models, projects, as well as opportunities and challenges of the bioeconomy from your perspective. Our congress provides a unique platform to present your work to a wide audience.

Target Audiences:

  1. Scientists: Present your advanced research findings and discuss them with an interdisciplinary audience.
  2. Entrepreneurs: Demonstrate how the circular bioeconomy is embedded in your company. Share your experiences and forge valuable connections.
  3. Municipalities and Counties: Municipalities and counties play a key role in implementing and integrating the circular bioeconomy into the existing economic system. Present your activities as "local managers" and network with stakeholders.
  4. Networks: Take the opportunity to promote your initiative on the congress stage and meet like-minded actors.

For this year's event, 14 different sessions are open for submission. These range from renewable fibers as raw materials, sustainable living, tapping into secondary raw material sources, circular bioeconomy in urban spaces, to cutting-edge technologies for the upstream processing of feedstocks for microbial valorization, and beyond. Our goal is to cover a wide range of topics to highlight the diverse aspects of the bioeconomy. You can find an overview of the sessions here.
