An accomplished executive and director, Markus has extensive experience in AI and embedded processors. At Au-Zone Technologies, he is currently senior advisor product strategy and business development. Markus was director of machine learning software technologies for NXP Semiconductors, where he led engineering, business and marketing strategy development, technology evangelism, product definition, and partner ecosystem engagements. Prior to NXP, Markus founded and presided over EEMBC for 20 years, leading the development of industry-standard embedded processor benchmarks. He was also president of the Multicore Association, and chairman of the Multicore Developer's Conference. Previously, he was a senior analyst at In-Stat/MDR and an editor at EDN magazine, focusing in both roles on processors for the embedded industry.
