Bettina Bloch
Born and raised in Berlin, Bettina graduated in 1997 from TU Berlin as Engineer for City and Regional Planning. Her longest break from Berlin was a 2-year stay at the University of Texas at Austin, USA, leaving in 1999 with a Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning. Still not done with higher ed, she passed the postgraduate program at the European Business School (ebs) in Real Estate Economics in 2001 and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2010. After gaining experience in the field of real estate development and consulting, Bettina joined Deutsche Bahn AG’s Corporate Real Estate Management in 2003, where she covered various positions in the field of Portfolio Management, Facility Management and Real Estate Strategy. She is now head of Portfolio Management, Real Estate Controlling and Systems. She is involved in the conceptional approach to New Work solutions. Bettina is Deutsche Bahn’s contact for the Fraunhofer Office 21 project.
