BIOGRAPHY OF CROWN PRINCE HAKEEM OLAOGUN DICKSON – IMMEDIATE PAST DIRECTOR-GENERAL LAGOS STATE SAFETY COMMISSION
Crown Prince Honourable Hakeem Olaogun Dickson, immediate past Director-General, Lagos State Safety Commission was born on May 5th, 1957.
Crown Prince Honourable Hakeem Olaogun Dickson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Thomas A. Edison State College, Trenton, New Jersey U.S.A and two Master’s degrees in Business Administration specializing in Accounting and Finance respectively, both from the Fairleight Dickinson University, Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S.A in 1983 and 1985.
He then returned to the Nigeria to contest and won an election as the Executive Chairman (Mayor) of the Surulere Local Government in 1999-2002. He was appointed as Special Adviser to the Minister of Works and Infrastructure in 2003-2008. He was also appointed Director-General Lagos State Safety Commission in 2017-2019.
He is currently the C.E.O of Citiwide Construction and Transport Nigeria Limited which specializes in the construction of roads and buildings and Director-General/C.E.O of Total Workplace Safety Management Systems.
He is aspiring to be the next governor of Lagos State, Nigeria in 2023.
He firmly hold the view that predestination could only be an appropriate success recipes if it matched with hard work, perseverance, great vision, dedication and unalloyed commitment to excellence.
Crown Prince Honourable Hakeem Olaogun Dickson is married with children.
