Data Processing
We collect your personal data in order to process your registration for the conference and to send you information relevant to the conference.
In detail the following types of data are processed: Name, E-Mail address, phone number, address, student ID, IT usage data (IP-address, date and time of connection).
We receive the data from you in the course of registration
The data collected is relevant for fiscal purposes and is therefore stored for 10 years.
Cookies are small text files that are sent to your computer when you use our website. We use cookies exclusively to realize your registration for the event (necessary cookies).
Legal basis for data processing?
Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1b of the EU-GDPR):
You have a business relationship with us (your booked conference and the invoicing service related the this).
Due to legal requirements (Art. 6.1c of the EU-GDPR):
As a company, we are subject to numerous tax and commercial law regulations. To comply with these regulations, we must process and store your data.
External service providers
We work with the conference management system Converia. The provider is Converia GmbH, based in Weimar. The service provider was carefully selected by us and contractually obligated to scrupulously comply with all relevant data protection regulations.
In addition, the event is organized jointly with Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie e.V. (GBM). All relevant data will be passed on to GBM and processed for the organization of the meeting.

Rights of access, rectification, deletion and objection
In accordance with articles 14-17 of the EU-GDPR, we hereby inform you that you have the right to access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of your data at any time.
Right of withdrawal
Your right to withdraw a given consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before the withdrawal.
Right of appeal
Lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority is always possible.
