Phil holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Swansea University and a PhD in Enzymatic Electrochemical Biosensors from the University of West England, Bristol. Following his study, he worked as part of the Gwent Group, until acquisition by Sun Chemical from 2011-2016. He remained with Sun Chemical, working with the Sun Sens range of pastes for electrochemical applications as a Technology lead.
