Wearable robotics for haptics and muscular assistance need fast, efficient, lightweight actuators. While pneumatics are effective, they rely on bulky compressors. We present FiberPumps: flexible 2 mm fiber-format pumps that generate over 2 bar/m flow without any moving parts, can be woven into fabrics, and directly drive McKibben actuators, enabling untethered soft exosuits and haptic systems.

Flexible/printed electronics enable conformable, low-mass, low-cost sensor platforms for packaging, infrastructure, and bio-interfaces. Using the Ceradrop F-Series, multilayer conductive patterns and thin-film encapsulation are fabricated on polymer substrates. Non-destructive evaluation (AOI/3D profilometry, IR thermography, ultrasonic/acoustic, impedance spectroscopy) maps defects and structure–performance links. A low-power edge stack with wireless telemetry supports field deployment.
Accelerated aging informs reliability models; demonstrators meet application targets and pilot-scale manufacturability.

The presentation shows the possibilities of piezoelectric sensing and the embedding of integrated electronics in injection molded 3D shaped parts for a reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.
