FAAS AISBL is committed to protecting the personal data of participants, speakers, and attendees of Sustainability Day 2025. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and share your information in connection with the event.

By registering for or participating in Sustainability Day 2025, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

FAAS collects the following personal data during the registration and participation processes: full name, salutation, email address, job title and organization, physical work address, professional contact details, biographical information, dietary preferences, photographs and audiovisual recordings taken during the event.

FAAS processes your personal data for the following purposes: to manage event registration and participation, to provide event-related communications and updates, to prepare participant and speaker materials, to facilitate networking between attendees and speakers, to promote the event and document it via photographs and recordings, to share speaker information with attendees and visitors of the event website, to comply with legal obligations and manage internal administrative processes. Should you not wish to appear in photos or recordings, inform the organizer in writing before the event.

FAAS implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

FAAS reserves the right to share personal data with event partners and service providers assisting with logistics, technical support, catering or communications as well as with other participants or speakers. We ensure that third-party service providers process your data only as instructed, under confidentiality agreements, and in compliance with GDPR.

FAAS will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Contact and registration data: retained for up to 3 years after the event; Media content (photos, recordings): may be retained indefinitely for archival and promotional use, unless erasure is requested

Under the GDPR and relevant data protection laws, you have the right to access your personal data, correct or update your data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain types of processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
