After a successful premiere in 2017 with 71 exhibitors and over 900 trade visitors and workshop participants all those involved expected a positive development.
Despite the positive feedback from the industry and a large number of companies interested to participate, many companies could not decide to book a booth for various reasons.
A subsequent event with reduced supply would unfortunately neither meet the demands of quality in the event in general nor the expectations of trade visitors. A workshop event without the accompanying trade show would not comply with the successful overall concept, which has received unanimous approval.
Numerous conversations with exhibitors, participants and interested parties confirm that lighting technology as a central communication and technology platform has the potential to significantly improve the development of lighting technologies and increase their market opportunities and competitiveness.
We see this as a mandate to jointly develop the event with the industry and to start again in the year 2019-with the declared goal to provide more to the lighting innovators: More exhibitors, more products, more solutions.
