You will be notified of this immediately via the contact details provided in your registration. In the event of cancellation, any participation fee already paid will be refunded. Further claims for liability and damages that do not relate to injury to life, limb or health are excluded, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the University of Freiburg.

Once payment has been received and, where applicable, proof of eligibility for the reduced rate has been provided, both ‘EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION’ and standard registration entitle participants to attend the following events as part of the DEUQUA 2026 conference:
- Icebreaker

- Conference dinner
- Guided City tour
Please note, however, that once the maximal number of participants is reached for the Guided City tour, we cannot guarantee the participation to this option anymore. In this case, a booking of this option is not possible anymore in the booking system. The accompanying programme (excursions, lunch, wine tasting, accommodation and travel) is subject to an additional charge and must be booked and paid for separately. Please note that some of the excursions involve a hike of up to 10 km. We require participants to be in appropriate physical condition. Should this not be the case, we reserve the right to exclude participants from the relevant excursions. In such cases, no refund of the excursion fee will be made. We accept no liability for damage that cannot be proven to have been caused by us as the organiser of the excursions or by our staff.
