The Forum for Macroeconomics and Macroeconomic Policies (FMM) organises an annual conference that seeks to promote an exchange between competing theoretical paradigms and covers present debates on macroeconomic theories and issues. This year´s conference has the title Shaping Macroeconomics in times of Global Transformation: 30 years of FMM and will be held on the dates of 22 till 24 October 2026. You can submit your proposals here. The deadline for paper proposals (extended abstract of max. 400 words, clearly outlining the research question, method and results) is 31 May 2026. Decisions will be made by mid-July and will be based on clarity, relevance and originality of the abstracts.
