General Terms and Conditions for the 2nd Molluscan Genomics meeting 2026

Scope: These terms and conditions apply to all participants registering for and attending the conference.

Registration and Contract Formation: Registration is binding upon submission of the registration form. A contract is concluded upon confirmation by the organisers.

Participation Fees: All fees are due within the stated payment period. Participation is conditional upon full payment.

Conduct: The organisers are committed to providing a safe environment that promotes equal participation for all. Any participants found to be interfering with the potential participation of others, intentionally or unintentionally, may be asked to leave.

Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be made in writing. Partial refunds (less applicable costs and potential tax liability) will be granted until the registration deadline. Substitute participants may be accepted upon request.

Programme Changes: The organisers reserves the right to modify the programme, including changes to speakers, schedule, or format, if necessary.

Liability: The organisers and the host institution are liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct. No liability is accepted for loss of personal belongings. Unpublished data presented at the conference by the participants cannot be protected with regard to confidentiality.

Data Protection: Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of organising and conducting the conference, in accordance with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR).

Image and Recording Rights: Photographs or recordings may be taken during the event. By participating, attendees consent to their use for documentation and promotional purposes unless they explicitly object.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: German law applies. The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the registered seat of the host institution.
