Registration

The registration page will first ask you for information about your participation.

The next step will ask for your name and address and prompt you to set up a user account for this site including your billing address.

The system will send you two emails. Each one contains a link to a pdf. One is the registration confirmation. The other one is an invoice. You must arrange payment within 2 weeks after registering (see below)

Abstract submission ("Paper submission")

There is a limit of one poster and one talk per presenter.

You cannot submit an abstract unless you are logged in.

You must provide the names and email addresses of your co-authors. (Postal addresses for co-authors are optional and not required.) All co-authors will receive an automatically generated email to notify them when the abstract is submitted.

Paying your participation fee from abroad

Payment can be made through Apple pay, Google pay, credit card, or bank transfer.

If you use a bank transfer from abroad (outside the EU): The easiest and most cost-effective way to send a bank transfer to Germany from most countries is to use a specialist transfer service such as Wise or Western Union (and there are others). These services typically offer better rates and lower fees than a regular bank. Before you transfer, make sure you have the full bank details from the invoice, including our IBAN and BIC, and use the "purpose" on the invoice as the payment reference. If the payment reference is missing, we will not be able to find your payment.

You must ensure that we receive exactly € 65 per person registering. Please check that you select the options that the transfer fees are added to your costs.

Important payment tips for international participants paying by bank transfer:

Always send in EUR
Even if your bank offers to convert to euros for you, it is almost always cheaper to send in your local currency and let the transfer service convert (or better yet, compare both options before sending).

Double-check the IBAN
German IBANs are 22 characters. An incorrect IBAN will either reject the transfer or, in rare cases, send money to the wrong account. Copy the IBAN from the invoice exactly.

Include the purpose / payment reference
If the payment reference is missing, we will not be able to find your payment.
The payment reference on the conference invoice is the "purpose" and is a reference code beginning with TA and then numbers.

If you have any concerns
Please do your payment RIGHT NOW. The organisers (Carola & Julia) will be on vacation for large parts of July and August and will not be available to help you.
