Directions to the Grand Elysée Hotel

By plane

A taxi journey from Hamburg Airport should take approximately 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can make use of the suburban train link and take the S1 to main station and change there for suburban train S11, S21 or S31 towards "Dammtor" (approx. 30 min.). Departure from opposite platform.

By rail

The Grand Elysée is by the Moorweidenpark, opposite Dammtor railway station (3-minutes walk).

By car

• Coming from Flensburg/Kiel on the A7 (Elbe Tunnel)

Leave the A7 at the Stellingen exit and head towards Centrum on Kieler Straße. Stay on the main road, always heading towards Centrum. On Edmund-Siemers-Allee, get into the lefthand lane when you reach Dammtor railway station in order to double back on yourself on the other side of the road, then turn right onto Rothenbaumchaussee. The Grand Elysée is to your right.

• Coming from Berlin on the A24/from Lübeck on the A1

From the A1, take the A24. On reaching the Horner Kreisel roundabout at the end of the motorway, turn off onto Sievekingsallee. Turn left onto the B75. Keep following the signs for Centrum and get into the lefthand lane as you drive round the Outer Alster. Drive across the Kennedybrücke bridge until you see Dammtor railway station on your left. Turn right onto Rothenbaumchaussee. The Grand Elysée is to your right.

• Coming from Hanover on the A7/from Bremen on the A1

From the A7, take the A1 and drive straight on to Heidenkampsweg. Get into the lefthand lane and head towards Centrum. Drive along the edge of the OuterAlster and drive across the Kennedybrücke bridge. When you see Dammtor railway station on the left, turn right onto Rothenbaumchaussee. The Grand Elysée is to your right.
