The research institute is accessed from a separate entrance around the corner from the public museum, the address you will use is:

There are many hotels within walking distance of the institute. It is also easily accessible by public transportation. Public transit is safe, fast, and well connected.
Google maps will give you public transit directions with reasonably accurate timing.

Transportation from Frankfurt Airport
From the airport train station (lower level of Frankfurt airport), buy a ticket from the GREEN ticket machines (the touch screen has many language options). Trains to the city are Platform 1. You can change at the main station (Hauptbanhof) to subway or streetcar to Senckenberg.

The airport is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Frankfurt, local taxis are available. (Uber also works, but is not easy for leaving the airport.) Please note there is NO PARKING available at the museum.
